On the 29 and 30 December it is the school orientation. On the first day of the orientation, I was quite scared as i don't know anyone in the same group as me. But after playing the games and knowing each other better, I manage to some really good friends. Other than playing games we also have cheer practice to prepare for the cheer competition tomorrow. I love the hwa chong cheer especially the north south east west cheer. After all that cheering, I went home with a bad sore throat.

On the morning of the second day of orientation, I woke up and my voice was hoarse. My father decided to go to the nearby petrol station and buy a packet of strepsils. My voice was much better after popping one into my mouth. Finally, the moment we all have been waiting for- the cheers competition. When the first group went up the stage, they were really good. They shout with all their might and were awarded 5 flags by the seniors. When it was our turn, we went up and did our very best. Although we were only awarded 4 flags, we were happy as we already did our best. At last, it was the prize presentation. The winner of the cheers competition is... Group 3. The prize was drinks and sweets.

In my conclusion, I would say that the orientation was really fun and I really enjoyed it!
